Before horses are purchased J.J.Gordon Bloodstock Consultants Pty Ltd organises a registered veterinary surgeon who is qualified to examine horses for the Hong Kong Jockey Club.

Track Examination, Confirmation Reports (leg height etc.)
Blood tests are taken on request, checking for prohibited substances such as "pain killers" or racing performance enhancing drugs.
